Held at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, ALL ABOUT PORTS gathered international decision-makers, technology providers and experts from the port, maritime and logistics industries. The event addressed the growing need for resilient and future-ready ports in an increasingly complex operating environment.

Resilience, Digitalisation and Security in Focus

Across three stages, representatives from industry, politics, research and technology discussed key developments affecting ports worldwide. Topics included smart port management, artificial intelligence, process automation, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, alternative propulsion systems and sustainable port operations. Financing, decarbonisation and the development of sustainable port fleets were also part of the programme.

The conference was complemented by a specialised exhibition showcasing technologies, products and services for the port sector. The aim was to encourage practical cooperation and knowledge exchange between companies, researchers and other industry stakeholders.

A central theme was how ports can strengthen their resilience in response to global supply chain disruptions, the energy transition, security threats and rapid technological change. Solutions discussed ranged from digital applications and automation to sustainable energy supply and more secure infrastructure.

Part of a Wider Maritime Industry Event Portfolio

ALL ABOUT PORTS was held alongside SMM, the world’s leading maritime trade fair, and LogiNext Germany. The three events offered complementary perspectives on the maritime and logistics value chains, covering shipbuilding, port operations, digital logistics and supply chain management.

Organisers and participants gave positive feedback on the first edition, highlighting its international character and the quality of discussions. The strong attendance was seen as evidence of the industry’s demand for a dedicated platform addressing the future of ports.

The next ALL ABOUT PORTS will take place in Hamburg on 17–18 November 2027.
