The exhibition floor is already taking shape. Industry leaders such as Astilleros Armon, Astilleros Murueta, Bergen Engines, Bureau Veritas, GEA Westfalia, Igus, Instituto Social de la Marina, Murimar Seguros, Sintemar, and Stem Fuels, among others, have confirmed their presence at World Maritime Week 2027, where they will showcase cutting-edge products, services, and solutions tailored to the maritime industry.
This corporate backing is complemented by strong support from leading organizations and institutions across the maritime, energy, and port sectors. These include the Basque Maritime Forum, the BASQUENERGY Cluster, Bilbao Port Authority, and Uniport, alongside prominent sector associations such as AINE (Spanish Association of Naval and Ocean Engineers), AVCCMM (the Basque Association of Merchant Navy Captains), ANAVAS (the Association of Basque Shipowners), and ASMANAVE (the Professional Association of Marine Engineers).
For its upcoming edition, World Maritime Week will reinforce its role as the benchmark event for the entire maritime ecosystem through a comprehensive programme that combines overarching cross-industry content with specialized technical forums. The conference area will bring together top-tier national and international speakers, who will share their insights and expertise on the industry’s defining challenges and opportunities.
The programme will address pivotal issues shared across the entire maritime sector—such as innovation, sustainability, and digitalization—while also offering tailored sessions for each sub-sector. Sinaval, Eurofishing, FuturePort, and Marine Energy will anchor the event’s core thematic areas, providing a specialized focus on shipbuilding, fishing, port, and marine renewable energy sectors.
Networking will once again take center stage. The Hosted Buyers’ Programme will facilitate high-value B2B meetings between exhibiting companies and national and international buyers, strategically designed to cultivate business contacts and unlock new avenues for collaboration. This initiative will be complemented by further professional exchange opportunities, including the third edition of the WMW Awards.
